Scott Baker - Director

Scott is a terrestrial ecologist with 13 years’ experience specialising in the provision of documentation associated with the suite of Commonwealth, State and Local Government environmental legislation. Scott is well adapted to solving complex problems, often involving multi-disciplinary teams, which enables him to maintain an overall project focus whilst achieving task specific outcomes. Scott is a Department of the Environment (DoE) suitably qualified ecologist (flora and fauna) under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 for the Australia Pacific LNG Project. Scott has extensive experience with the desktop analysis, field assessment and mapping of ecological assets found throughout Queensland. This experience has been attained through numerous detailed Ecological Assessments, Pre-clearance Surveys, Biosecurity Surveys and Rehabilitation Compliance Monitoring assessments.

Scott is well versed in the capture, manipulation and presentation of spatial data. This facilitates Scott’s ability to efficiently design and implement data capture and monitoring programs. Scott has developed multiple custom field assessment data capture methodologies which enables reliable and efficient downstream data processing and reporting. These methodologies have been utilised by numerous clients to ‘build’ in-house spatial databases and reporting tools.

Bachelor of Science with a Major in Ecology and Biodiversity
