Offset Area Management Plan monitoring surveys
E2M undertook monitoring of Ernest Henry Mine’s biodiversity offset areas in accordance with Environmental Authority and Offset Area Management Plan requirements. While onsite the E2M team undertook additional surveys to:
- Conduct a site weed survey and provide a weed action plan; and
- Monitor the population of a vulnerable species, the purple-necked rock-wallaby.
This provided the client with cost savings measures by eliminating additional mobilisation and reducing equipment hire costs.
E2M completed the surveys on-time, without incident, within budget and in accordance with the scope.
