Rehabilitation photo monitoring is required across the gas transmission and water pipeline which spans over approximately 940km.
E2M was commissioned by Origin Energy to conduct annual rehabilitation photo-monitoring and biosecurity surveys to ensure compliance with relevant environmental approval conditions.
E2M understands the potential environmental impacts associated with conducting field surveys. We have an appreciation of the biosecurity risks associated with regular vehicle traffic between site locations and landholder properties. Managing biosecurity risks requires prudent planning and diligent management of all vehicle movements and management of weed washdowns to prevent the spread of declared weed species.
Our in-house Geographical Information System (GIS) processes have been applied to the captured data to deliver rapid and reliable quantitative data. The benefit for Origin Energy includes cost saving with our already extremely competitive pricing, high level of data control which ultimately saves time in-situ and increases the data quality.
E2M recognises that Origin is proactively committed to honouring agreements made with Landholders, conditions set by various State and Local Government bodies and recommendations made in various management plans to reduce project biosecurity impacts. Accordingly, all E2M staff have been trained and accredited for the Cleaning and Inspection of Vehicle Machinery/Plant. This allows E2M to anticipate and be proactive in the management of biosecurity risks associated with vehicle movement. E2M supplies Origin with all biosecurity vehicle hygiene certification documentation at the completion of each field survey.
