Annual rehabilitation, biosecurity and ground cover monitoring of Origin Energy’s gas transmission pipelines, water pipelines and gas gathering infrastructure.
To maintain compliance with environmental approval conditions, E2M was commissioned to conduct annual monitoring of approximately 940 km of pipeline infrastructure and over 6,000 coal seam gas wells.
Risk mitigation
E2M understands the potential environmental impacts associated with conducting field surveys. We have an appreciation of the biosecurity risks associated with regular vehicle traffic between site locations and landholder properties. Managing biosecurity risks requires prudent planning and diligent management of all vehicle movements and management of weed washdowns to prevent the spread of declared weed species. Accordingly, all E2M staff have been trained and accredited for the Cleaning and Inspection of Vehicle Machinery/Plant.
