Oliver has over 7 years of industry experience in ecological consulting and 10 years’ experience as a research scientist in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Oliver has extensive experience in undertaking flora and fauna survey for threatened species management plans and environmental monitoring programs pertaining to both flora and flora in the terrestrial environment. By staying informed regarding the latest field survey technologies, Oliver can provide innovative and efficient survey methodologies for industry clientele. In addition, Oliver has been extensively involved in environmental compliance assessments for a broad range of industry and government sectors including road and rail transport, energy, communications and defence. Oliver is familiar with environmental legislative requirements in Queensland including the Vegetation Management Act 1999, Nature Conservation Act 1992 and associated regulations, and the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. Oliver is also familiar with the nuances of the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 in NSW and is an accredited BAM assessor.
